A small river - Vandiperiyar.
As we all know that, a valley is a region between two highest points, similarly Cumbum valley is the only region in Tamilnadu, which is surrounded by gushy green tea estates, situated between the Idukki district of Kerala and the mighty Kodaikanal that makes us feel, that we have lost somewhere in a heavenly place. As this territory is shared between Tamilnadu and Kerala, so you could see a cross cultural habitat as well.

This Valley is one of the most fertile land of South India, which spreads across 3 different hills namely Kodaikanal Hills, Thekady Hills and Varasanadu Hills. The valley has a rich heritage of flora and fauna. Cumbum Valley produces 90000 tonnes of Muscat grapes and 10000 tonnes of seedless grapes This region has many grape farms, which also contributes to the tourist attraction to this valley.
